Iloud Precision 6 vs Precision MTM

Hello,

I am a musician and I am trying to decide between those two monitors. I want to use them for various different applications so the x-monitor app is a great thing to me.

I wanna play electronic drums and piano through them but also want to do just casual music listening and connect them to my tv as well for games and stuff.
I would love to avoid getting a subwoofer because not only its an added cost but also sometimes subwoofer create more problems than what they solve.
I do have a small PA system and I really like it to play drums, but Its not that great for listening to music and gentle piano sounds.
Also I am not gonna be sitting at the perfect height all the time and I would like the speakers to fill my room with sounds as well, if possible.

Can anyone recommend whats the best solution for my particular needs?

Hello, thank you for your answer. I have done that, but honestly the response was not very interesting or detailed. I was hoping someone else would be able to explain the benefits of the precision MTM over the precision 6 being that its quite a bit more expensive. I wont be using it for super accurate mixing, mostly to enjoy good sound.

If you want the sound to fill the room, I'd recommend the Precision 6. The MTMs are amazing but with MTM speakers you get a more focused listening area due to more off-axis rejection but when you are in that nearfield position wow the imaging is incredible. The Precision 6 units will be nice and pleasantly loud still with great imaging and will fill the room more.
