purchased total studio 4 max > downloaded amplitube 5 max v2 and tonex working fine > downloaded modo drum 1.5
From here I opened modo drum in reaper to check it out and seen that the only kit it showed downloaded was the studio kit I was able to get it to make some sounds with via a midi keyboard but didn't mess with it much since i wanted to get the other kits installed (sounds in the product manager. Tried to download metal kit first under sounds in product manager (doing all downloads through product manager)
download failed - error code cl202 - could not unzip file message. started trying to check paths and tried again with select path for sounds enabled and set it where i thought it should go in
programs files > ik multimedia > modo drum
made it like 60 percent and had the zip error again. checked to make sure product manager had permissions and while there wasn't much as far as options in windows it had permissions as far as I could tell and I just downloaded other stuff to the same folders with no issue so I imagine that's not the issue. tried to extract the zip I thought it was having issues with didn't do anything so I deleted the unzipped folder leaving the zipped folder essentially backtracking that step. at some point I open up modo drum in reaper again and now the studio kit that was unlocked before show as not being downloaded like the rest of the kits so not literally no kits available. now I'm even more confused as to what's happening so I use the uninstaller somewhere in the product download folder to uninstall modo drum and that seems to remove everything modo drum related as far as I can tell.
(side note: pretty sure i got an error code 1110 also at one point)
so now I reinstall modo drum from the ik product manager in attempt to start again with fresh slate and get back to where at least the studio kit would make sound. downloaded fine I thought but when I open it up in reaper the studio kit is not downloaded (no kits are downloaded) and I was trying to listen to grooves or basically do anything in the plugin that might make a sound and I cant get it to do anything even though it does seem to recognize that there are titles for different grooves.
(also the studio kit is not even in the sounds tab on in product manager so I'm not even sure how I would go about getting that even if i could get the sounds to work)
Obviously I'm searching for a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
