I am very excited to share this instrumental track with you, again!
It was posted here in May, 2021 when it was a collab with close friends of mine since high school. Go back to hear the previous version of the song and description, it’s still there.
Well, I couldn’t be more chuffed to showcase this version of the song which is a further collaboration with mike_jf from this forum. There is certainly something to the saying about surrounding yourself with those greater/smarter / better than yourself. I really dug Mike’s music after I got to following his SoundCloud and, apparently, he was a fan of this song. Sooooo….got to thinking…be great if Mike would lend his talents on piano. It can be daunting to reach out cold to someone to see if they might be interested in joining forces on something (hey, CS, how you doin’ brother!)….thankfully I did….and Mike was gracious enough to consider.
Well, after the past couple weeks of going back and forth… with Mike adding wicked piano, the ending changing and new instruments being added - here is the result. Working with Mike on this was super. Lots of ideas shared… some worked out… some didn’t… but it seemed we had what was best to elevate the track in mind and consensus came easy.
