Does Total Studio 4 Max come with a DAW?

I recently finished downloading Total Studio 4 Max and I can't find a DAW in the software package? I haven't been able to find a concrete answer for it, but it seems it doesn't have one? I'm very new to this so its possible i could be missing something as well. Does IK Multimedia not make any DAW, or are they just expecting you to already have one/purchase it separately?

If it doesn't come with one, any DAW recommendations?

We do not make a DAW. That is usually a very personal choice to most, so we leave it to the user and also many already have a DAW that they work in.

Since it is a personal choice, perhaps some users will chime in with their favorites (and why) but I also recommend trying those that have a demo version to see what workflow and features suit you.
