Option to use 3rd slot while using A/B rigs.

I don’t know if this possible from a processing point of view. Could a Tonex One Run one of the A/B full Rigs AND the 3rd slot (say with a drive pedal) at the same time? I would like to be able to have that 3rd slot for an overdrive while having the A/B with rigs.

One way I think it could be controlled is while the app is connected allow a selection of tuner vs enable/disable 3rd slot with long push. I think having the tuner is a great idea but a lot people use clip on tuners or have some other pedal on their pedal board that already has a tuner built in. Those users could disable the tuner and use the long press normally used for the tuner to turn on/off the pedal in the 3rd slot. Sorry don’t know the correct names for everything yet, I’m still waiting for my local dealer to get one in.

For feedback that the 3rd slot is on, the leds which indicated whether you are on A or B would stay the same color but could flash to indicated the overdrive is on.

Makes this mighty little thing even more powerful

You cannot load two Tone Models at a time so this would not be possible.

Thanks for the reply, I kind of expected it would not be possible. Even so I'm really looking forward to getting the tonex one, it will be the core of my fly rig. And maybe my main rig if it performs as well as some of the videos indicate.

Oh I understand, I would also have hopes in case it was even remotely possible - my thought was maybe disabling reverb/etc but the processing is mostly taken up by the Tone Model itself so it wasn't possible to squeeze two on the chip(s) at the same time. If I could wish it into existence, though, I surely would because that's a great use case.

Not that it is 100% consolation but at least the TONEX ONE is very low latency and low priced for those who want to and can use two or like in my case I had the TONEX Pedal already so using TONEX ONE for a drive/boost in front of it works great. I still have to try some acoustic IRs on the TONEX ONE, that would be my personal excuse to pick another up (after the initial demand dies down, of course, we need to make them as fast as we can to meet the demand!).

Well it's pretty amazing what it does in such a small enclosure anyway, it was definitely wishful thinking on my part. I'm constantly trying to figure out how to either reduce size or weight or add more without increasing the size of my main board (my criteria is everything has to fit on a nano board). So I suspect there is one going on my main board as well as my fly rig and maybe even a 3rd. On the day you released I was actually really excited waiting to see what Origin Effects released (which is cool too but not as cool at Tonex One) and I saw what you released and thought WOW this is amazing, I immediately started texting stores to find out when it will be available.

I gig in Taipei and walk, cycle and take MRT to all my gigs so I have a headless guitar and everything else including my pedal board has to fit in a tiny 16" suitcase with wheels lol (otherwise can't get enough of it in the basket of a youbike or even sit comfortably on the MRT).

Anyways thanks for seeing if there was a way.
