I would like to know if there is a way to use the ARC 3 plugin when you are actually recording. In other words hearing a yet unrecorded signal coming into the interface but not yet recorded as a track in the DAW. I am running ProTools through a UAD 2 Quad Silverface Apollo. The Apollo has it's own input console capable of inserting only UAD plugins. Since I cannot insert ARC 3 in the UAD Console I don't see how I would be able to hear the signal corrected by ARC 3 prior to being tracked or while it is in the process of being tracked. ARC 3 only seems to be usable after a track has been recorded and that track is in ProTools running through the master or a monitor bus with ARC inserted. Am I missing something?
