Catalina authorization issue

I just downloaded T-Racks 5.2.2 and installed on Catalina 10.15.1.

It installed correctly and the plugins open, but only in demo mode. I ran the authorization several times: directly from the authorization manager, from a plugin, and from the app. Each time the authorization appeared to work, but when I re-open the plugin or app, it still says it is in demo mode.

Anyone else seeing this?

Same here. Sent a support request, but haven't heard back though...
Hope to get this fixed asap as I am in a middle of project.

I got a reply yesterday night. Apparently a new T-Racks 5 update for Catalina is currently in the making, and they are going to release this week. I'll wait for that. That might just do the trick.

Same here.

Just updated from T-Racks 5 to T-Racks 5 Max. I have downloaded 5.2.2 which is Catalina compatible, unable to authorise. I uninstalled and reinstalled T-Racks. Authorisation Manager accepts serial for T-Racks Max and everything seems to be working until I close T-Racks or open CS while T-Racks is running. Then T-Racks becomes unauthorised. Next time I open app, it says "10 days demo has expired. Please Authorise".

Very frustrating, I updated to Max because I read news about Catalina compatibility... :evil:

In certain cases, 5.2.2 may not authorize correctly in Catalina. Devs are aware and should have a fix up shortly. I don't expect there will be a longer period to wait than the period in which you can use the plugins in demo mode without limitation.

Since the demo mode also showed as expired, the plugins will generate hiss sound randomly. So, it is not true that we can use T-RackS currently without issue.

Appreciate Devs to put the priority to fix the authorization issue asap!

Same here, as I wrote before, it says “10 days demo has expired”. So unfortunately can’t use T-Racks until this is solved.

You can use T-RackS for 10 days. Please work with IK Support if you've used the trial period and I'm sure they can get your issue sorted.

OP (to whom I was mainly replying as it is their thread) states they "just downloaded" T-RackS which would mean they can indeed use T-RackS for the time being.

I'm sure IK Support can assist in any way possible and that the authorization fix for those experiencing this issue will be posted soon.

OK, so I downloaded and installed version 5.2.2b and authorisation went through without a glitch. Everything works as it should. Thanks to IK Multimedia and Peter for sorting this out quickly.

Still having same issues with the 5_(5.2.2b) installer. It says it’s authorized but plugin still in demo mode. Any assistance is much appreciated.
Im on OS X 10.15.1 / mocbook pro 16. DAW ProTools & LogicPro
