[SOLVED]Sampletank + Syntronik works in Standalone not Logic

Postby FlatwoundBass » Sat Mar 29, 2025 4:15 pm

I saw some discussion of similar issues in threads, but no resolution.
I thought I'd check in with everyone here and see if there were any ideas.
IK support has been contacted, but it's not resolved yet.

I've got several instruments downloaded and installed on an external SSD (which was it's own frustrating experience).
Mac mini M2 Sonoma
Logic 11.1.2

-Sampletank + Syntronik working fine in standalone

-I can open Sampletank + Syntronik in Logic, and can see individual instruments on the left column, but can't see any sounds and nothing will load beyond that

-Sampletron working well in both standalone and Logic

Everything else I got as part of Total Studio Max seems to be working well, but I've hit a snag with Sampletank/Syntronik world. Any ideas welcome, thanks for the help.
I'll update when I hear back from support too.

Re: Sampletank + Syntronik works in Standalone but not Logic

After a few emails, I got a response from IK support that solved this.

I had to be sure Logic Pro X has access to all of the correct Files & Folders in System Settings.

When I looked the "Documents" button wasn't engaged. "Removable Volumes" was, and that where the actual samples are located.

Once I engaged the "Documents" button it started working just fine.
Hope this info can help if anyone else is having a similar issue.
