Hello all. I am just interested to know if I can still get the SS downloads - I do own it (although I can't see it in my PM account?) - and there are a couple of patches on there I would like to use in a session. Are there any legacy downloads - and if there are, can I import this into ST4?

You mean Sonik Synth 2, I guess.

You should find them in https://www.ikmultimedia.com/userarea/my-products/
But
(a) the Sounds Download will have expired, so you'll need to buy a Downloads Reactivation
(b) ST4 cannot Import legacy sounds; you will need to Import them into ST3 and add the ST3 library path to ST4's Preference Settings
(c) I do not think that it is possible to install ST3 on recent Macs.

As you own it, don't you have the SS2 sounds library installed somewhere?

Thanks DarkStar - but not great news. I have a new Mac and ST3 won't work. A pity - but thank you so much for confirming what I thought I knew.

I did have the ST3 library stored - but had a catastrophic hard drive failure from my old machine - largely due to the power situation here in South Africa - that, in fact, led to me getting a new Mac at a lot, lot, lot of $... so lost all of everything. Got most things back via online accounts - except these legacy sounds.

I have contingency now though - and sorted out the power situation - so I guess we learn.
