Blank windows and crashes Philharmonik and Sampletron 2

Hi, I appear to be having a problem with both of the above plugins. I can't load more than one instrument in Philharmonic without it crashing. One is fine, loading a second causes a crash as soon as midi gets sent to the plug in.
With Sampletron the problem is a blank window when opening. Opening when transport is paused, or the effects rack rather than keyboard is shown, seems to reduce the instances of actual crashes, but doesn't stop the blank windows when reopening.
I'm not sure, but resources seem to be the problem for both.
I'm running Sonar X3, HP Laptop i5 8Gig of Ram and an outboard HDMI monitor.
All samples on a fast external ssd.
Here's hoping I don't need a new machine... but I fear I already know the answer.

You should be OK with that system.

Please contact Technical Support via the IKM web site, for some one to one diagnosis and help. After searching the FAQs, there may be relevant results, and you should see a

Nothing in Forums or FAQs so I've opened a ticket.
Glad to hear you think resources should be ok.
There's a lot written about IK VSTs being hungry and I'm not having anything similar with other VSTs. I freeze tracks I'm not working on, but that doesn't seem to help where these two are concerned.
I'll post when I hear from IK in case anyone else has the problem in future.
