Sample Tank 4 Crashes using Ableton Live 11

How can I stop Sample Tank 4 crashing?

I'll load some instruments, then all of a sudden, Ableton will crash.

What's going on? Why is this happening?

Sampletank 4.21 does not crash on my system (configured as per signature)

We need more information, PC Specs, what you have tried so far. How many parts per instance? Tried VST2 and VST3?

I am assuming you have already updated SampleTank to 4.21 and all of your hardware drivers (using manufacturer's websites rather than Windows updates)

What do you mean when you say "how many parts per instance"?

I have been using VST 3. What does it matter if I use VST 2 or VST 3?

This situation where sampletank 4 crashes Ableton live 11 suite on MacBook Pro. I’ve tried different plug-in types, vst2, vst3, au2, etc.
I primarily use vst3.
But, as it turns out; it was only crashing due to my Sound Content folder paths in Sampletank settings. If you (like I did) have multiple paths listed it crashes. Fix it by deleting all of them but the main one you plan to use with all of your samples.
Fixed it for me, hope this helps!

Thank you so much.
I was going insane, I thought I lost a magic project file. I moved my sampletank 3 and sampletank 4 files into a single folder, and Ableton no longer crashed. Thank you so much!
