I am loving Hammond B-3X, but the VST3 plugin seems to be causing GUI and functional lag in both Presonus Studio One 4.6 and Topten Software Cantabile 3 Build 3636.
In Studio One, switching to/from the Instrument Track containing B-3X is very slow (3+ seconds versus instant for other VIs like UVI Workstation and Kontakt Player), as is opening B-3X's GUI (10 seconds versus instant for the aforesaid VIs), and enabling monitoring on the track (3-4 seconds versus instant for the aforesaid VIs). This is incredibly annoying and slows down my workflow!
In Cantabile, switching to a Scene/State containing B-3X takes 3 seconds versus instant for the aforesaid VIs. This is a bit nerve-wracking during a live performance where stability and speed are paramount.
I haven't yet tried the VST2 version of the plugin to see if it might make a difference. In fact, I can't even see it in Studio One, even though it is installed in the same folder with all of my other VST2 plugins.
Any ideas on how to correct this? Is it a known issue to be addressed in an update?
