I am sure there is....but I cant figure out how to change the parameters (?) of instruments...I want my trumpet to attack like th staccato but I want it to keep playing. everything has a creshendo that I don't want...can someone help me? and in all honesty I don't think that the software sounds as good going through sample tank as it did when I used sonar and it was not routed through tank...

Sounds like you may want to layer two separate trumpet sounds (one for the initial staccato attack, another for the sustained note after) and if you are having trouble with the secondary sound being a "crescendo" you can adjust the attack parameter so it does not do that.
