Philharmonik Miroslav Workstation 1.1.2 on High Sierra?

Postby thomas.haake » Sat Feb 10, 2018 1:30 pm

Hi all,
I found my old version of PM Orchestra and Choir workstation in versin 1.1.2. but doesn´t let me install the sounds. However I got a lot of sounds with an ending ".stip and .sth, stl and so on." on the DVDs.
I´m running 10.13. ,High Sierra. Any help highly appreciated.

Yes, the (original) MP sounds files do have the extensions: .sti, .sth and .stw with the presets being .stip.

What is the exact problem that you get during their installation?

Thanks for the reply.
The DVD 1 has a program to install all sounds. This does not run on my machine:

However I copied the brass sounds the folder /Library/Application Support/IK Multimedia/Miroslav Philharmonik/Instruments but they do not show up. Yes, seems to be a bit naive but I don´t see another way except maybe a patch to get the install run.

Copying the files into folders should be OK, I think.

What program are you using to try to load them? Have you pointed the program at the /Library/Application Support/IK Multimedia/Miroslav Philharmonik folder?

Here, MP does not have an Instruments folder. Rather, I have:
L:\IK Multimedia\Miroslav Philharmonik\Brass with "Ens Brass" and "Solo Brass" sub-folders.

Thanks. Does your library has the same content as the one in the pic?

Just copying with the finder, is there any other I should use?

Yes, pointing it to the library as you mentioned but can do any other place (like yours)

Ah, I see the folder now. On Windows it is in "C:\Program Files (x86)\IK Multimedia\Miroslav Philharmonik"; that is the default location - I have never used it.

I have never used OSX / AU.
