Yes, but back up those downloaded files to an archive disk, so you don't have to download them again (if you need to reinstall).

Awesome news! I just had a system die on me and I was a little worried about the sample libraries restoration/re-download, but now thanks to this change it's one less thing to worry about, which is great!

This makes it easier for everyone involved and allows us to focus on what we love doing: using those Sounds to make great music.

And can any software (ex. Total Studio 4 Max) be installed on both Windows and Mac with one purchase?

This is excellent news about the download availability. It's good to know I won't have to worry if my computer acts like a bunch of [Mod edit: suspicious link has been removed - posting further such links can lead to a ban from this forum] and needs a full reinstall. I appreciate IK Multimedia listening to their users.
