I am just finding out that the Miroslav Philharmonic program was updated. If you have the original version, is there an upgrade price or is it the same whether you have the original or not?

There is an upgrade price. If you visit https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/philharmonik2 logged into the account with the previous version, when you click "Buy Now" you'll see the lower upgrade price set for you.
