Modo drums or bass

Trying to decide between modo drums or bass. I have sampletank 4 max. I was wondering if either one makes up for what lacks in ST in the drums and bass departments.

I have all three, Sample Tank 4, MODO BASS and MODO DRUM. As great as Sample Tank 4 is, it can't compare with either one.

If you can only get one, get MODO DRUM first, because its level of realism is incredible. Sample Tank 4 has some good basses, but again Sample Tank 4 doesn't match MODO BASS in realism and playability, but nice sounding drums should come first since the Sample Tank 4 basses are pretty good in a mix.

Thanks Dave, just the kind of input I was looking for. Makes total sense, I just needed a nudge in a direction. I know a few bass players and it’s infinitely easier to record them live than a real drummer. Decision made!
